Hi readers!! How are you?


The last work we have been doing in the ICT's class is the creation of a scheme or mind map, using an online program called Mind 42. Is a page to do mind maps free, you can include notes, pictures, links to different web pages, you can play with different colors, etc.

Firstly, we have chosen a topic, the one we like more or the one we think it is more interesting. I have chosen the Champions League 2014-2015 because I like football so much. Then, following the instructions published by our teacher in the blog LaskoICTs, I have developed a complete mind map, composed by different font size and colors and also with diversity of information.

In my opinion, this program is an interesting tool that gives facilities to our work of studying, and when you are developing the scheme and coping the information, it helps you memorizing the events and dates too. Is very useful to do mind maps, you can do mind maps for example to study social sciences, to summarize the information if you have a lot and also you can share with your friends or export it as a PDF file. So, personally I can say that the program Mind 42, has helped me a lot.

Hi readers, this time I have done an article about Barack Obama and why he received the Nobel Prize Peace award. Before this work we had to do another work about the winners of all the Nobel prizes from the year 1995 to the year 2014, and them alone we had to choose one of the winners and make an individual project about them.

I've chosen the category of peace because I think that peace is the cornerstone for a better world, and I've chosen Barack Obama because I think that he is an honest person

Biography:

Barack Hussein Obama born August 4, 1961 is the 44th and current president of the United States, and the first African America to hold the office. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Obama is a

graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law school, where he served as president of the Harvard Law review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago law school from 1992 to 2004.

In 2004, Obama received national attention during his campaign to represent Illinois in the United States Senate with his victory in the March democratic party primaries. He began his presidential campaign in 2007 and, after a close primary campaign against Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2008, he won sufficient delegates in the Democratic Party primaries to receive the presidential nomination. He then defeated Republican nominee John McCain in the general election, and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009. Why did Barack Obama receive this prize?

Barack Obama has been awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomatic processes and cooperation among people.

Opinion:
I think that Obama deserved the award for the great work he did in 2008-2009 but nowadays he is one of the most controversial presidents of the world and therefore I think they should take him away the award.

He is one of the most controversial presidents because he takes part in the wars of Siria, Afganistán and Irak. This wars are provocating more than 750.000 deaths.

For which you did not know yesterday was the day to say no to violence against women. This day is very important for everyone but especially for women who day after day live in fear of being raped, murdered etc.

The percentages of violation of previous years are chilling, as each year there are more than 13 million rapes a year only in EU. Also one in three women (33%) has experience physical and sexual violence since she was 15 years old.

This violence can be physical, sexual or psychological, including threats and coercion, occurring in areas of the couple, family, social and United States, being able to murder.


Together we can stop this, say no to violence against women.

Hi people, in this second article I'm going to talk about the social websites.

Hi, now I'm going to talk about the social webs.The social webs like Tuenti, Facebook... are very good to comunicate with your friends or family anywhere you are, and you can play games, and upload photos. And they have a webcam and when you are speaking with a friend you can see him. These are some advantages of social webs.



The security of social webs are not bad, because the people that want to speak with you or see your photos and you don't now who they are, they can't speak to you or see your photos if you don't give permission to them. If you want to speak with a friend privately you can send him a private message.



The disadvantages of tuenti, facebook and these webs are that your password can be stolen and do anything they want, and they can see all your things, but this doesn't happen many times.

Hi people, in this first article I'm going to talk about the music. There are a lot of type of music ( Rock and roll, Jazz, Pop... etc. ) but especially now I'm going to write about electronic music.




Definition and characteristics:

Electronic music is music that employs electronic musical instruments and electronic music technology in its production, an electronic musician being a musician who composes and/or performs such music. In general a distinction can be made between sound produced using electromechanical means and that produced using electronic technology. History:

The electronic music has a very short history because it is a very recent music type.

- Following the decline of disco music in the late 1970s, various funk artists such as Zapp and Roger began experimenting with talk boxes and the use of heavier, more distinctive beats.

- In 1983, Hashim created the influential electro funk tune which became Cutting Record's first release in November 1983.

- In 2005 emerged the most important festival of the electronic music until today, Tomorrowland.

We have a lot of important artists of the eletronic music but there are three artiststhat stand out; David Guetta, Steve Aoki and Avicii.

Avicii: Tim Bergling (born 8 September 1989), better known by his stage name Avicii is a Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer.
